| MaGiK was founded by Polish born animation director/designer
Maciek Albrecht in 1997. Since then he created shorts for Sesame
Street, Nickelodeon, MTV and HBO.
MaGiK's work is often musically inspired. Recent production includes
short subjects for HBO Specials, working with the formidable soundtracks
of John Lennon, Nat King Cole, Judy Garland , Los Lobos and The
Byrds.
For his elegant and magical classic animation MaGiK has won many
domestic and international awards including The Best Feature Award
in Annecy for his independent film Close To You. He's a winner
of four Emmy Awards.
Much of Maciek's work characterizes childlike innocence which is
inspired by his wife and two young children who are constant inspiration
for him.
